Super hot day. Totally can't stand the weather.
Best to hide in the theatre or some air condition place with a cold cold drink.

SATURDAY, 11 MARCH 2006
Dinner at Sun Japanese dinning in CHIJMES.

(Trying my best to do a food review. If all else fails, let the picture do the talking then..haha)
1. CHAWAMUSHI

BEST I ever tasted. Thought initially i thought its overly priced cos its just steam egg after all. All chawamushi taste the same. But this is like WOW. The sweetness and smoothness combined with the sauce they provide just make the whole thing melts in your mouth. Not forgetting, the ingredients inside. Usually, chawamushi only has mushrooms and perhaps some chicken inside. This one, its got those good chinese stuff in. Like bai guo, lian zi，li zi and some others. Super good. MUST HAVE !!!!

2. BEEF AND VEGETABLES ON HOT PLATE

My advice, eat it with it HOT.

The gravy is soooo sweet! Usually i wouldn't like such sweet stuff but guess this is an expection.

For those who loves beef, this is definitely GOOD. And as for the rest (like me), just stick to the veggie. haha.... cabbages, straw mushrooms, golden mushrooms, bean vermicelli, tons of onions.

I think its a rather subjective dish cos its got all sorta ingredients in there and some picky eaters might not like certain ingredients.

3. NIKKI UDON AND TEMPURA UDON

Delicious. The best udon place had closed down so this is an alternative to the best udons around.

Simple traditional soup base. Just the way i like it.

For 4 dish together with constant refill of hot green tea only cost 50++ which is super reasonable!!! Not like some place, eat a few stick of thing n amt to 80+ and not nice and nth on the menu can actually attracts me... and that i shall not name which resturant. hahaha
